The Los Angeles Kings are fed up with Pierre-Luc Dubois that before their game against the Calgary Flames, they demoted again the forward.

Jim Hiller, head Coach of the Kings, has had enough of him and his attitude and took him out from the third line to drop him into the fourth line.
A reminder that Dubois is the second highest paid player on this team, with a small amount of $8.5 million a year until 2031, just behind Drew Doughty.

Now with Phillip Danault back in the lineup, Dubois will no longer be seen playing lots of minutes anymore. Specially on that fourth line and ready to be out of the league before his contracts ends if he continues like that.

A friendly reminder that Dubois is only 25 years old and was a 3rd overall pick in the 2016 draft lottery. With 79 games played this season, he has only 38 points.
This wouldn't be an issue but his huge contract makes him one of the most hated player by the team's fans.
The Kings' general manager would need to be creative in the coming years to be able to get rid of this massive contract out of his books. The kings will never be a contender when $8.5 million is given to a fourth line player that can't produce and has a negative attitude.
