The Winnipeg Jets confirmed the status of their defenseman Brenden Dillon for game 4 after his bloody hand injury.
In a massive scrum that went down after the final whistle in the third game between the Colorado Avalanche and the Winnipeg Jets, Brenden Dillon had to rush to the locker room. He was cut by a skate blade on the hand during the brawl.
If you missed it, here's our report on the incident:
A few hours before the puck drop on game four, the Jets' head coach Rick Bowness confirmed the defenseman's status.
He stated that Dillon will be out today, that hif it was up to the player, he'd play, but the team prefers to wait for next game, next Tuesday. He added that Logan Stanley will take his place on the line up.
As shared by the reporter Tracy Myers:
"Brenden Dillon OUT today. Bowness said they're hoping he's back Tuesday. Said if it was up to Dillon, he'd play but they'll wait. Logan Stanley in for Dillon.
On the forward side, Axel Jonsson-Fjällby in, David Gustafsson out."
A big challenge awaits for the Jets on Sunday afternoon as they'll try to tie the series at 2.
