The Winnipeg Jets are looking to find momentum ahead of the playoffs, but bad news has now come in the form of Adam Lowry missing several practices.

At this time of year, seemingly everyone in the NHL is banged up, but with the playoffs just weeks away now, teams need to get healthy before pushing for the Stanley Cup. One team that's dealt with plenty of injuries is the Winnipeg Jets, but on Thursday, more concern arose as Captain Adam Lowry remained off the ice for his third consecutive practice.
Jets captain Adam Lowry not taking part.

This would make it three straight days off the ice for 17 as it was a day off on Tuesday, he took a maintenance day on Wednesday and he isn't on the ice today.
According to Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Free Press however, there is confidence that even without practice, Lowry will be back on the ice as the Jets take on the Calgary Flames on Thursday night.
Optional skate for #NHLJets Sean Monahan and Mark Scheifele were out early for work but departed. Logan Stanley on the ice after missing Wednesday workout with an illness. No Adam Lowry but would imagine he plays. Connor Hellebuyck is expected to start in goal vs #Flames
Still, given the injuries to the likes of Gabe Vilardi, Kyle Connor and so many other Jets throughout the year, it's fair to be concerned when the captain is absent from three straight practices. Beyond Lowry, good news for Logan Stanley who was back on the ice after suffering a recent illness, and with Colin Miller looking to slide back into the lineup on Thursday, the Jets are showing off their stellar depth.
Looks like Colin Miller draws back into the #NHLJets lineup tonight vs #Flames Dylan DeMelo and Brenden Dillon skated together yesterday so it looks like Miller and Dylan Samberg could be the third pairing.

It's an optional today.

About 15 guys are skating. No Connor Hellebuyck so Jason Kasdorf taking part.
With Lowry missing another practice, Jets fans will be concerned for him moving forward, but if he can get back on the ice ahead of the playoffs, the Jets will certainly be a team to watch in the Western Conference.
