With just two points between the Winnipeg Jets and top spot in the Central Division, they clearly have big goals in 2023-24, but unfortunately, they just haven't been able to avoid the injury bug.

Four Jets forwards considered questionable with injury

On Friday ahead of their Saturday clash with the Carolina Hurricanes, Head Coach Rick Bowness has given an update on four key forwards going into that matchup.

According to Bowness, Gabriel Vilardi, Sean Monahan, Mason Appleton and Nik Ehlers will all be game-time decisions ahead of that crucial game, with every game being critical to the standings in the Central when the playoffs roll around.
All four players have been key to the Jets success in 2023-24, with Monahan exploding on the scene since his arrival, and if this team stands any chance of making a deep playoff run this year, they'll need to be as healthy as possible.
Bowness still remained hopeful that Vilardi would feel better ahead of the game on Saturday, but with a back-to-back featuring a clash against Buffalo on Sunday, it makes perfect sense if they're a bit more cautious with the playoffs right around the corner.
