Nikita Chibrikov showed off his feisty side in the Jets' game against the Oilers

Chibrikov, 21, was selected by the Jets in the second round (50th overall) of the 2021 draft. He has 46 points (17 goals and 29 assists) over 69 games with the Moose last season.

Nikita Chibrikov, is looking to showcase with the brief stint of prospect games what he has to offer. With only one game of NHL experience Chibrikov there's not much on the youngsters resume other than his time last season with the Manitoba Moose. One shining point was a goal that was scored in his first and only game NHL game last season.

With a strong showing and good preseason Nikita Chibrikov, will try to put pressure of GM Cheveldayoff to keep the young prospect for a larger look with some games to start the year with the Jets.

The Winnipeg Jets don't have the depth they've once had upfront on offence like years past, and with the lack off movement and players leaving in the offseason, someone like Chibrikov may be a player that may work his way into this Jets lineup come opening night.
