Patrik Laine was traded for a second time in his NHL career this past week, and now another report of run ins with former teammates, this time in Winnipeg revealed.

On the ice, Patrik Laine has been a very productive player throughout his career, but behind the scenes he comes with plenty of baggage, and after the trade to the Montreal Canadiens, we've heard more and more about those issues. First, it was a meeting that took place between four of his former teammates in Columbus, with those players asking the organization to trade Laine and goaltender Elvis Merzlikins.
Now, a new report from TVA Sports has revealed that while in Winnipeg, Laine had issues with two teammates in veterans Blake Wheeler and Mark Scheifele, who would often intimidate him.
"In 2021, when he moved from Winnipeg to Columbus, Laine hinted, according to the Finnish media Iltalehti, that he had felt intimidated by Blake Wheeler and Mark Scheifele."

It's unclear if those issues were ever resolved, but with now two sets of veterans having problems with Laine, it's safe to say that Montreal, without any veterans could be in for some issues of their own. However, Laine remains an incredible goal scorer, and if he can stay on the ice, they will be getting a fantastic addition to their top-six, so now we will wait and see whether things can go smoother for the Canadiens.
