We're only on July 15, but Winnipeg Jets fans are buzzing about what the 2024-25 lineup might look like. Those at Daily Faceoff has offered some predictions that are realistic and we will just go with that for today's edition of opening night predictions. Is it October yet?

On the top line, Kyle Connor and Mark Scheifele are no strangers to playing together, and adding Gabriel Vilardi makes a lot of sense.

The second line is uncertain since Cole Perfetti is without a contract. However, if he signs and no trades transpire. The trio of Nikolaj Ehlers, Vladislav Namestnikov ,and Perfetti which played 194 minutes together last season, should stay intact. Last season, they combined for 11 goals and allowed just six.

The Jets fourth-line forward depth playing a factor early in this series.
Moving into the bottom six, Nino Niederreiter, Adam Lowry, and Mason Appleton will anchor the clean up crew.
They had the best defense among line combinations that played more than 225 minutes, allowing just 1.32 goals per 60 minutes.
They also finished as the Jets' highest-scoring line combo with 23 goals, thanks to their chemistry.
The fourth line is the most likely to change on any team, as players can easily move around throughout training camp. But on paper, it appears to be Morgan Barron, David Gustafsson, and Alex Iafallo.
Yet we will see what coach
Scott Arniel has in mind when opening night arrives.
