Matt Rempe is quickly making a name for himself as one of the biggest goons in the NHL. Today he continued along this path with another insane fight.

Rempe Solidifies His Role As A Goon With Another Insane Fight

This afternoon in a divisional matchup between the New York Rangers and Columbus Blue Jackets Matt Rempe let his presence be known. Once again Rempe decided to drop the gloves against Blue Jackets forward Mathieu Olivier.

Both Rempe and Olivier came out swinging at one another. In the end, Olivier seems to have come out on top.
It is far better to give than receive...and Mathieu Olivier did a lot of giving in his fight with Rangers enforcer Matt Rempe.

Despite a six-inch height disadvantage, Olivier outpunched the 6-foot-7 Rempe.
