Last night, the Edmonton Oilers got the upper-hand on the Montreal Canadiens and they earned a 3-2 overtime win. During the game, trade deadline acquisition Sam Carrick dropped the gloves against Michael Pezzetta!

Only a few minutes after the game started, Michael Pezzetta and Sam Carrick met a center ice for an intense fight.
Both players landed several punches, but Carrick ultimately got the best of his opponent and sent him on the ice.

Trade Deadline Acquisition Sam Carrick To Be a Key Player For the Oilers In the Playoffs

A the last trade deadline, the Oilers made a big move by getting Sam Carrick and Adam Henrique from the Anaheim Ducks. Whereas Henrique's role with the team was easy to foresee, many fans were wondering what would Carrick bring to the team.
We had a great sample last night. If he can bring the same intensity for the playoffs, the Oilers could be on their way to bringthe first Stanley Cup to Canada in the last 30 years.
