The Winnipeg Jets promised their fans that big changes were coming in the organization. Except for the trade that sent away Pierre-Luc Dubois for Gabriel Valardi, Alex Iafallo, and Rasmus Kupari, nothing major happened in Winnipeg.

Jets Need to Hurry

If they want to make more moves, they'll have to hurry. With the training camps set to begin in less than a month, the management will need to act quickly to bolster their team as promised.
At this time of the off-season, many teams are almost ready to start, and only a few are still looking to make major moves.
However, they could use a different strategy.

Jets to Wait for the Deadline?

As you know, two top players in Winnipeg have asked to be traded: Connor Hellebuyck and Mark Scheifele.
Both have provided great services to the Jets over the years, but their time with the organization is bound to end soon.
If they aren't traded by the training camp, chances are they'll be gone at the deadline. By doing so, they maximize their chances of making the playoffs and getting a bigger return for their assets.
When do you think they'll be traded?
