New report confirms the cause of death of 24-year-old goaltender Creed Jones

A new report shed light on the cause of death of the 24-year-old goaltender Creed Jones, who tragically passed at 24 years old last Friday.

It's with great sadness that we learned the passing of Jones a few days ago.
In recent news, it was confirmed that the young man died in a motorcycle accident involving another motorcycle.
Check out additionnal details from Olivier Therriault:
"Former Oceanic goaltender, Creed Jones, tragically died at the age of 24 following a motorcycle accident on Friday night on Highway 417 in the Ottawa region. His host families in Rimouski are in shock."

"According to the CBC, Jones was traveling westbound shortly before midnight. He reportedly collided with another motorcyclist, aged 27, in a ramp. He also died in the tragedy."
Jones played in the QMJHL between 2017 and 2021 for the Rimouski Oceanic, the St. John Sea Dogs and the Gatineau Olympiques.
In his last season, he took part in 12 games for Rimouski, tallying a 4-6-1 record, a .869 SV% and a 3.31 GAA.
The goalie never made it the the NHL, and had left hockey behind him. However, he was a part of many players' career and will be dearly missed by the hockey community.
