"As many may know, our organization was struck by tragedy this morning, with the devastating news of current Bulldog Troy Wylie passing away at the age of 31.
Troy will be remembered by his teammates, our staff and those that had the pleasure of knowing him for his incredible dedication, heart, selflessness, work ethic and positivity. Troy had a massive impact on our organization both on and off the ice, a player who never complained about icetime, lineup changes or role/position that was asked of him on any given night. Troy was extremely grateful and respectful and only cared about the common goal we all have, winning games and winning a championship.
Troy was everything an organization searches for in a player, good hockey players that are even better people.
Troy attended community and team events and understood the importance of giving back to those that support us, his commitment to this organization never wavered.
We extend our deepest condolences to Troy's fiancé Chelsea, his parents Pete and Tammy, their family and the many other people who's live's were impacted by knowing him.
The loss of Troy will be irreplaceable, however we will do our best to move forward as an organization that will dedicate this season to his memory.
We know Troy will still be with us every step of the way and his impact will be the wind in our sails.
Until we meet again buddy.
'Tell the boys to give them hell and go get that W!'"
