Gold medal winner Thomas Ceccon of Italy was seen sleeping outside on the streets after he complained about horrible Olympic village conditions.

The Olympic Village where athletes live during the Olympics has been facing some heavy criticism lately by gold medallist Thomas Ceccon who could not stand the conditions and therefore had to go outside to sleep on the ground. People were shocked to see this as many assumed the athletes would have been staying in upscale living quarters.
Gold medal swimmer Thomas Ceccon went to extreme lengths to get some sleep, even napping in a Paris park. 😴🏅
Ceccon and other athletes have complained about the subpar' standards in the Olympic Village. Despite this, Ceccon won gold in the 100m backstroke. 🏊‍♂️🥇
«There is no air conditioning in the village, it's hot, and the food is bad,» Ceccon said. «Many athletes move for this reason: it's not an alibi or an excuse, it's the reality of what perhaps not everybody knows.
I'm disappointed that I didn't make the final, but I was too tired. It's hard to sleep both at night and in the afternoon. Here, I really struggle between the heat and the noise.»

Italy's Swimmer, Thomas Ceccon sleeping outside because he was fed up with no A/C in the Olympic village. Bro, got his rest and locked🥇
Pictures of Ceccon began to circulate online where he is seen sleeping on top of a white towel that has been laid over grass, next to a tree and bench, as he is curled up and trying to get some rest.
im in love with thomas ceccon (hottest man to ever set foot at olympics) i fucking love his attitude. his hatred towards paris is so funny lmao sleeping outside bc of no a/c is so me
The Italian Swimming Federation FIN clarified the video, explaining that Ceccon is only taking a nap during the afternoon as it is daytime, and that no one would be forced to have to sleep outside in the middle of the night.
Ceccon isn't the first athlete to bash the Olympic Village, as Team USA Coco Gauff has stated that one of her female tennis teammates had to leave the village and stay elsewhere after the situation became "too cramped".
Matilda Kearns, an Australian water polo player, also said that she had to get a professional massage to undo all of the damage that her body faced from sleeping on the horrible mattresses in the Village.
100m backstroke Gold Medalist Thomas Ceccon from Italy!! 🔥🔥🔥🥵
The good news in all of this is that following Ceccon's "nap" on the grass, he woke up, went to his competition, and won the gold medal. He may not have gotten a good night's rest, but he did accomplish what he truly came to the Olympics for.
