Italian volleyball star going viral after revealing pictures surface

The 2024 Paris Olympics has had a lot of viral moments and wild events, constantly headlining the sporting world since it began. Unfortunately, a lot of the news surrounding the Olympics has been negative due to several controversies. Many people bashed the opening ceremony of the Games for being anti-Christian, and conspiracy theorists have continued to circulate rumors online about boxer Imane Khelif. Her Italian opponent was Angela Carini, and Angela ended up dropping out of the match in under a minute, which led to Khelif facing plenty of hate, where she had to end up setting the record straight on what her gender was, which she said was female.

There is finally some good news though, as the Paris Olympics entered the online world for a more positive reason this past weekend. 21-year-old Italian volleyball star Valentina Gottardi has gone viral on Instagram for some pictures that are circulating which show her representation of Italy in a very revealing outfit. Valentina managed to gain 17,500 new followers from the moment her volleyball game started against the US team, until it ended. That's a lot of followers in such a short period of time.

The 12 hours that followed the end of the game against the US allowed Valentina to gain an additional 71,000 followers, and it is still growing. Unfortunately, Italy did get eliminated from the tournament after they lost to the American team, which sent the US to the quarterfinals. Despite the fact she could not beat the US, Valentina Gottardi can relax now, knowing that she has enough fans to last her decades.
