The NHL has prepared a plan for the Arizona Coyotes' relocation next season.

After years or relocation rumours surrounding the organization, it looks like we're closer than ever from seeing the team leave Arizona.
Per Frank Seravalli, the NHL prepared for both scenarios. If they can manage to win the auction to buy the site for their future arena in Phoenix, the Coyotes will have a calendar in Arizona next season. But if they don't get it, they'll be ready, as they also made a calender with the Coyotes' home games in Salt Lake City
"Sources: #NHL is drafting two schedule versions for next season - one with #Yotes in Arizona, another with the relocated franchise playing in Salt Lake City.

Fluid situation. Lots of moving parts. Details on dual paths and a potential transaction."
In no case does this confirm anything. We'll need to wait at least until June 27th, the date of the auction, before we get to the end of all this. Even if the NHL prepared for both scenarios, Alex Meruelo, the Coyotes' owner, is still very much involved in the process and won't leave Arizona so easily.
Details will follow.
