It's been quite some time since Bruins legend Tim Thomas was in the spotlight at TD Garden. The quiet goaltender tended to keep to himself and avoid attention, but that all appears to be changing.
Thomas Returning to Boston
Thomas hasn't played an NHL game since 2014, but that doesn't appear to be stopping the Stanley Cup-winning goalie from returning to his former city to take part in something special.
Thomas, who now lives in Vermont with his family, recently shared his excitement regarding his involvement in the Bruins' upcoming Centennial season celebrations.
"It's something I'm looking forward to," said Thomas, speaking from his new home in Barre, Vermont. "It's going to be good to see some old teammates. The Bruins have planned a lot of great events, so it should be an enjoyable season."
While Thomas has been away from the public eye for some time, it looks like the legendary netminder is finally ready to make his glorious return to Boston. With the Bruins' Centennial celebrations set to be very eye-catching, we're excited for the upcoming season.
We look forward to seeing Thomas back in TD Garden soon!
