The Boston Bruins are surprising many people once again this season. After the departures of key players, no one suspected that they'd still be undefeated six games into the season.
Now, they've made significant roster moves that could indicate something bigger in the works.
Brown already cleared waivers a few weeks ago, so he can report straight to Providence. Mitchell, on the other hand, will need to clear before joining the AHL.
"Sounds like Patrick Brown is being sent to Providence as well with Mitchell, pending waiver clearance. Brown does not need waivers ATM, as he cleared recently. #NHLBruins"
Big Move Incoming?
Without Mitchell and Brown on the Bruins' roster, this will give Boston's GM Don Sweeney some wiggle room for a trade or a signing.
With Patrick Kane set to return soon to the NHL, could they be preparing for his arrival? Many other free agents are available: Jonathan Toews, Josh Bailey, Oscar Klefbom, Jake Gardiner, Nick Ritchie, and Ethan Bear, to name a few.
Fans and experts are getting excited to see what the Bruins are planning to do!
