Boston Bruins forward David Pastrnak won a lot more than gold this year, after finally marrying his longtime girlfriend Rebecca Rohlsson

Despite their second-round exit to the eventual Stanley Cup-winning Florida Panthers, Boston Bruins forward David Pastrnak has had one of the best years of his career, and it is not particularly close. In the NHL, he recorded his second-most points in a regular season, clocking in 110; at least 40 more than any other member of his team.
"David Pastrnak this season:

 47 goals
 63 assists
 110 points
 +21 plus/minus

The only Bruin to have 70 or more points."
Yet, his greater moment came at the end of May. Pastrnak represented Czechia in the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) Ice Hockey World Championship. In addition to being part of the first winning team of the nation, Pastrnak scored the goal that clinched the gold medal.
"David Pastrnak was already everywhere you looked in Prague, but his profile will hit a whole new level on home soil after scoring the goal that clinched Czechia an unforgettable gold 🥇 at the IIHF World Hockey Championship.

What a moment for Pasta and his country."
Yet, the Boston forward went beyond his on-ice successes this year as summer continues. After years with his partner Rebecca Rohlsson, David Pastrnak finally married this weekend. The couple held their ceremony in Croatia, inviting his fellow Bruins teammates.
"David Pastrnak gets married to longtime partner Rebecca Rohlsson in Croatia, Bruins players celebrate"
David Pastrnak is clearly continuing to level up in both his personal and professional lives. Hopefully, he can continue his stride as he enters his next year with the Boston Bruins.
