After months of rumors, the Boston Bruins appear finally set to trade goaltender Linus Ullmark.

This year, Jeremy Swayman slowly took on Linus Ullmark's number one role with the Bruins. At only 25 years old, he should be an important part of the team's plans for the future. As for Ullmark, he becomes an interesting trade asset.
Many teams would be ready to pay a high price to acquire him, especially with one year on his $5 million AAV contract.
A new report confirmed that the New Jersey Devils could make the best offer for the goalie.
In a recent press conference, the Devils' general manager Tom Fitzgerald confirmed that he was willing to trade his 10th overall pick at the upcoming NHL draft for a goaltender:
"If we feel it helps us now and in the foreseeable future, then, yes, I'm listening. I haven't gotten anything yet, but the more I talk to teams, I say 'Listen, I'm open to moving No. 10, but it's going to have to be something (significant).'"

"Does the No. 10 pick get you that type of player that you can add to the group? It's easy to say, Go get so-and-so, and then you build from there.' But there are some guys who have different contracts, so how are those players going to reprice at? There's a lot to it, but, yes, the focus is on finding that goaltender."
The Bruins only have three draft picks in the first three rounds this year. Getting the Devils' pick could be tempting for GM Don Sweeney.
Unfortunately for him, other great goaltenders could be available, such as Jacob Markstrom of the Calgary Flames and Juuse Saros of the Nashville Predators. If the Devils opt for one of them, the Bruins would still have the option to trade Ullmark elsewhere to bolster their top six.
