The Utah Hockey Club is about to make its debut in the NHL for the 2024-25 season, and they're letting you fans pick their name.
After a 520,000 votes, they've narrowed it down to six options: Utah Blizzard, Utah Hockey Club (Utah HC for short), Utah Mammoth, Utah Outlaws, Utah Venom, and Utah Yeti.

Utah's NHL team, owned by the Ryan Smith Entertainment Group (SEG), recently acquired the Arizona Coyotes and brought them to Salt Lake City for $1.2 billion expansion fee. With all this buzz, the team is set to hit the ice in 2024-25 as the "Utah" somethings, but they're still keeping their long-term logo, name, and mascot hidden for now.
#BREAKING: The Utah HC logo has been discovered and is currently being used, as it's been added to the NHL assets API. We might be looking at the color scheme/ logo Utah will use next season.
The Utah team shares the spotlight with the NBA's Utah Jazz at the Delta Center. It should be the beginning of a fun partnership.
