A recent rumour is going viral online that Patrick Kane will announce this week that he has signed to this Atlantic Division team.

Patrick Kane Rumoured to Be Signing in Buffalo for Two Years

Patrick Kane's next city has been the hot topic of the entire offseason, as many rumours have surfaced where the star forward might sign. Rumours have been surfacing that Kane had interest in a few teams, but mainly Detroit, Buffalo, and Dallas. Now, it appears he has chosen.
According to a source online, it appears Kane has chosen to sign a two-year deal in Buffalo.
It's going to happen sometime this week. Patrick Kane will sign with the Buffalo Sabres; two year deal in the $3.5-$4M per season range.
Kane is from Buffalo and has been training in Toronto since recovering from hip surgery this offseason. Buffalo was already a suspected landing spot for Kane, and it isn't a stretch to believe he has signed there.

Could a Two-Year Deal Hinder Buffalo's Future Prospects

If Kane did sign a two-year deal worth $4 million per year, there could be implications for some of Buffalo's younger prospects. A two-year deal could hinder the development of one of Benson, Savoie, Kulich, or Rosen.
Another reminder that a multi year deal for Patrick Kane will 100% block out a path for one of Buffalo's 1st round prospects who aren't that far from being NHL ready
