Marian Hossa a legend in the Blackhawks organization announced he will be doing a goodbye game to his fans next month in Slovakia and the players that are attending are quite notable.
Hossa's Farewell to Hockey
Chicago Blackhawks legend Marian Hossa has announced that he's having a "Goodbye Game" next month in Slovakia.
Jonathan Toews, Patrick Sharp, and Dustin Byfuglien are among the players that will play in the game. All proceeds from the game will go to Marian's foundation.
The list of notable players to be going to the game include Dustin "Big Buff" Byfuglien who mysteriously stepped away from the NHL in the 2019 off season.
All of these players will be helping Hossa say goodbye to hockey.
Hossa's Career
Marian Hossa played in 1309 regular season games with the Atlanta Thrashers, Ottawa Senators, Pittsburgh Penguins, Chicago Blackhawks and Detroit Red Wings collecting a total of 1134 points.
Hossa was a pivotal part of the Blackhawks dynasty helping them to collect 3 cups in 6 years.
However Hossa developed a skin condition that forced him to step away from the game forever.
Hossa currently sits 2nd all-time in points by a Slovakian-born player.
