Corey Perry's name is back in trade talks already, the veteran player signed a one-year $4 million contract with the Blackhawks in the summer.

Perry Linked to Two Eastern Conference Teams

Perry in 11 games so far has two goals and sevens points, living up to his contract.
Perry, Nick Foligno and Tyler Johnson are helping the rebuilding Hawks mentor their young players like Connor Bedard through his rookie season.
With Perry being on a expiring deal, the most likely outcome is trading him to a contender. There are two teams that make sense for Perry, both are in the Atlantic division.

Perry Linked to the Leafs and Lightning

The two teams that have been linked to Corey Perry are the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Tampa Bay Lightning. Both teams are in need of depth scoring and grit. Both of the assets that Perry brings to any team.
Both teams know all about Perry and his antics during the playoffs when he was a member of the Lightning and Canadiens.

The only complication is cap space for both of these teams, the Blackhawks could retain half but the teams would have find a way to fit him in if they are looking for a veteran agitator.
