The Edmonton Oilers goaltenders have struggled this season, and while there's other issues on this team, a combined .864 save percentage just isn't going to get it done at the NHL level.
After the meltdown and major loss against Vancouver, John Buccigross presented the blockbuster idea of sending Leon Draisaitl and Warren Foegle to Boston for Linius Ullmark and other assets from the Bruins.
On the surface, the idea of trading one half of the best duo in the NHL is a crazy one, but given their struggles, if they don't make a move, they risk losing one, if not both of them in free agency.
Ultimately, it's likely too early in the season to make a blockbuster deal like this, but if the Oilers are serious about contending this year and the Bruins want to find their next Patrice Bergeron, this isn't out of the realm of possibility.
