Bedard Stares Down Canes Goalie In A Petty Celebration After A Cheap Shot

Connor Bedard has always been known for being competitive. While this has never been questioned during his time in the NHL tonight he showed exactly how high his competitive level can go.
At the end of the second period of his team's game against the Carolina Hurricanes Bedard was shoved by Carolina goalie Spencer Martin.
Heading into the locker room Bedard must have been plotting his revenge because he came out of the break on fire. Shortly into the third period, Bedard scored a highlight reel goal. After scoring he stared down goaltender Spencer Martin.
The goal would be overturned but would still give fans a fantastic and petty celebration from Bedard. Fans wouldn't need to wait long for Bedard to eventually score for real as he put home a powerplay goal.
Despite giving up the goal Spencer Martin and the Hurricanes would get the last laugh winning 6-3. It is fantastic having Connor Bedard back healthy and playing with such swagger he will be fun to watch for a long time.
