Today during Detroit Red Wings practice several teammates lost their cool and a brawl broke loose that had to be broken up.

Red Wings Teammates Unexpectedly Fight During Practice

The Detroit Red Wings have been on a frustrating slide for weeks now. Last night the team hit rock bottom after being blown out by the Buffalo Sabres.

Today at practice things came to a head when teammates Ben Chiarot and Lucas Raymond took out their frustrations on one another.
Ben Chiarot and Lucas Raymond had to be separated during Wings practice.

Detroit has lost 6 in a row and has fallen out of the top-8 in the East
Fights in practice are never usually a good thing especially optically for a professional sports team. However, sometimes a moment like this can get a team to snap out of a funk.
If the Red Wings are going to make the playoffs they will need to improve quickly. It will be fun to see if this incident can spark a comeback into the playoff race.
