Campbell Gets Demoted in the Oilers' AHL Affiliate Team
Jack Campbell, who has been playing in the AHL for the past few months, has recently encountered a significant setback.
According to Puck Empire, Campbell, who appeared in 10 games for the Bakersfield Condors this season, has officially lost his position as the team's number one goaltender.
His record of 4-6-0, coupled with a 3.46 goals-against average and a save percentage of 0.888, falls well below the expectations for a goalie with a $5 million cap hit.
While the Oilers had hopes of recalling him to the NHL in the near future, this recent development has put those plans on hold.
