We're pleased to announce that Dani Rylan Kearney has been added to the #Oilers hockey operations department as a regional scout.
Dani played for @GoNUwhockey before founding & serving as commissioner of the National Women's Hockey League.
Welcome, @DaniRylan! 👏
This is the first woman the Oilers have ever signed as a scout. She will work as a pro scout for the Oilers.
Kearney's Impressive Resume
Kearney founded and ran the NWHL for five years before it disbanded. The league rebranded and merged into the current top women's hockey in the world, the PWHL.
Kearney also played for the Northeastern Huskies in the NCAA. At 36 years old, she is among the trailblazers for women in hockey and could become a strong candidate to break more records in the future.
