McDavid Visits Youth Hockey Game In Arizona

The Oilers captain was seen attending a youth hockey game in Arizona ahead of the team's matchup against the Coyotes later in the evening. He was joined by fellow Oilers Corey Perry and Ryan McLeod.
McDavid's appearance at such an event is no small deal for the kids on the ice. It must have been quite the experience for them as they got to see a player that many, if not all of them, likely idolize.

Oilers Earn Come-From-Behind Victory Against Coyotes In Arizona

Later that night, the Oilers would go on to secure a 6-3 victory over the Coyotes. At one point, the team was down 3-2 in the final period, but two quick goals gave the team the lead and they would never relent.

McDavid did not score in the contest, but he did get two assists to go along with a shot on goal in just over 20 minutes of ice time. The win improved Edmonton's record to 33-18-1, putting them 3rd in the Pacific division, three points back of the Golden Knights. However, they still have three game in hand on Vegas, giving them a legitimate shot at overtaking them in the standings.
