There's been a lot of talk lately about Evander Kane and his future with the Edmonton Oilers and now the man himself wants to have a word.

Kane reportedly plans to exercise his No Move Clause to veto any potential trade out of Edmonton. He also will be healthy for the start of next season. However, this clause will change to a modified no trade clause by the trade deadline of 2025, which is the earliest the Oilers could trade Kane on their own terms.
Based on reports we've gotten over the last 48 hours @EdmontonOilers forward @evanderkane should be fully recovered & healthy by September when training camp opens up.

Kane has been able to do some activities, he's been golfing with his friends in Edmonton & enjoying life as he should be. He's also built a new home in Edmonton & the community has treated him very well as he's also treated the community well in return. It's been a great fit for both sides. He wants to be apart of this winning culture, he's been adding to it since be got to Edmonton.

The health is the most serious thing here, it sounds like it's been getting better for Kane. Which is a huge positive.

With him in the Oilers lineup they look like can't be matched by any other team in the @NHL

Despite the controversy, Kane has the potential to be a valuable scorer for the Oilers. Injuries hampered his performance in the playoffs, but if he stays healthy, he can strengthen the ' forward group alongside new acquisitions Jeff Skinner and Viktor Arvidsson.
The Calgary Stampede is a gathering ground for people from all across this great country even Edmonton Oilers. Great to bump into @evanderkane out enjoying the festivities tonight!

They'll need the veteran to step up and with bottom six member Ryan McLeod now a Buffalo Sabre.
If he can do that, fans will happily love him being part of jubilant renditions of La Bamba after more wins.
