Being an Edmonton Oilers fan is riding an emotional rollercoaster exhilarating highs, gut-wrenching lows, and everything in between. Yet one thing that keeps them going strong is our love for the team and the electrifying voice of Jack Michaels during regional games.

Michaels is the heart and soul of Oilers broadcasts, bringing that contagious passion and energy to every play. Yet when it comes to the playoffs, Oilers fans are left without Michaels behind the mic.
They've been rallying behind petitions for years, begging Sportsnet to give Michaels the playoff spotlight he rightfully deserves. This year, they've gotten 6,000 strong!
Yet, because there might be a glimmer of hope on the horizon. See, with the Vancouver Canucks making the playoffs this year. There's a chance Harnarayan Singh might be called up to cover their series, freeing up Michaels for their beloved Oilers. He's rocked the Oilers playoffs before but he's not dripping with Oilers fandom like Michaels is.
Sportsnet's playoff broadcast could also use a shake-up. Having Michaels back in the playoff booth would be music to our ears.
Even if it's just for the first round, the mere thought of Michaels calling Oilers playoff games excites them. Hopefully, Sportsnet hears their cries and gives Oilers Country what they've been longing for the legendary voice of Jack Michaels echoing through their living rooms during the playoffs.
