A video showing the Vancouver Canucks defenseman Nikita Zadorov mocking Edmonton Oilers' Evander Kane for complaining to the referee is going viral.
Since the Battle for Canada started between the Vancouver Canucks and the Edmonton Oilers, it's been quite eventful for the Canucks' defenseman Nikita Zadorov and the Oilers' forward Evander Kane.
Both players like to stir things up on the ice, trying to get under their opponents' skins on any change that they can get.
It didn't always end well for Zadorov, who even had to pay a $5,000 fine after landing a cross-check in the back of Connor McDavid.
Last night, the Canucks got the series lead back and could eliminate the Oilers as soon as tomorrow night.
In a 3-2 win, the Canucks defensemen were all over the place. They managed to limit Leon Draisaitl, Zach Hyman and Connor McDavid to a mere two shots each. McDavid only scored one point in the last three games, highlithing the Canucks' tight defensive game.
The defensemen were all over the place, but Zadorov was at another level; he was inside the Oilers' heads.
He didn't shy away from mocking Evander Kane after the forward had gone over the referee to complain.
Zadorov decided to go with the famous crybaby symbol. Watch it for yourself here:
"Nikita Zadorov mocked Evander Kane for whining to the officials 😭💀"
Do you think the Vancouver Canucks will eliminate the Edmonton Oilers to reach the Conference Finals?
