Panthers To Sign Ritchie
George Richards of Florida Hockey Now recently revealed that Brett Ritchie will be joining the Panthers in training camp on a PTO contract.
Free agent Brett Ritchie is expected to be part of #FlaPanthers training camp when it opens up a week from today
Ritchie is one of the hardest-working players in the NHL fighting for his keep every night and proving it oftentimes.
While he is not a goalscorer, he is physical and makes other teams' lives a whole lot more difficult.
He spent last season mostly with the Flames but was traded to the Coyotes midseason for his brother Nick. In 50 games, he has 13 total points. He was originally a 2nd round pick of the Dallas Stars in 2011 and has carved out a respectable NHL career.
He will now set his sights on earning a contract with the Panthers and hopefully helping them in another Cup run afterwards.
