The St. Louis Blues are a team hoping to make the playoffs next year but the injury to one of their players means that they may be looking at the trade block.
Krug Goes Down
A few days ago, it was revealed that Torey Krug, a star Blues defenseman, suffered an injury that will knock him out for the entirety of training camp and probably more.
Blues D Torey Krug suffered a "right-foot injury during training" and will be re-evaluated on Oct. 1, the team says.
Krug is an integral part of the Blues roster and with him hurt, they have a massive hole in their top four. When healthy this is what the Blues roster looks like.

With the hole that is introduced with Krug gone, the Blues are looking at the trade market for a replacement.
Blues Eyeing Sanheim
Recently, insider Eklund of HockeyBuzz.com revealed that the Blues are looking for somebody to replace Krug while he is out.
Krug's injury is not a great one for the BluesRumor is they are now shopping hard for a top[ 4 D, and could reach out to the Flyers again regarding Sanheim
The Blues needing a top-four defenseman and the Flyers having one to give up could work well for both teams and if the Blues are looking to make the playoff run, we could see a massive blockbuster before the season begins.
