The New Jersey Devils have built one of the NHL's most talented rosters, and now they've made two very interest PTO deals.

With training camp quickly approaching for all NHL teams, they are now figuring out their PTO options for the off-season, with Sheldon Keefe now making two solid additions to his New Jersey Devils roster. According to TSN's Chris Johnston, the Devils have added both Michael Hutchinson and Jakub Zboril, and given that neither garnered much free agent interest, they are both low risk options that could pay off big time for the team.
Zboril last played in the NHL with the Boston Bruins during the 2022/23 campaign, where the 27-year old played in 22 games, adding a goal and four points, and given the need for depth on the blue line, it's a great move for the Devils.
Hutchinson has a little more NHL experience, as the 34-year old has played in 154 games for Toronto, Detroit, Winnipeg, Florida and Columbus, over that time compiling a .903 save percentage and a 2.93 GAA. While neither player is expected to make a huge push for the opening night roster, they could potentially serve as depth options, and after the injuries that New Jersey dealt with a year ago, depth is a major need that both of these players could potentially fill with a standout training camp.
