The New York Rangers' enforcer Matt Rempe refused to drop the gloves against Boko Imama in last night's game against the Ottawa Senators.

The Senators called back up the renowned enforcer Boko Imama from the AHL ahead of their clash against the Rangers.
When both players were on the ice at the same time, Imama tried to provoke Rempe to drop the gloves.

The Rangers' rookie didn't fall in his trap, and continued playing while Imama pursued him and slashed him several times on the legs.
Watch the scene here:
This shows that Rempe grew since he came into the NHL. It looks like he learned to chose his fights.
With only a few days before the start of the playoffs, now is not the time to take unnecessary risks. Rempe should play an important role for his team, if he manages to remain healthy.
The Rangers won 4-0 against the Sens, and clinched both the President Trophy and the home-ice advantage with that crucial win.
