Knies Not Playing In The Final Prospect Tournament Game: Fans Worried About Injury
Today, the Toronto Maple Leafs prospect are playing in their third and final prospect tournament game. Notably, Matthew Knies, the Maple Leafs top prospect and a player with a chance of playing alongside Auston Matthews next year, is not playing.
This comes one game after Knies took a stick to the wrist resulting in attention from the training staff.
Looks like Knies took a whack on his wrist. Briefly looked a by staff but he's toughing it out.
Hopefully, this is precautionary from the Maple Leafs but if it is something more severe, it will have proved to be a massive mistake by letting him play the prospect tournament in the first place.
