Ahead of game two, Toronto Maple Leafs head coach, Sheldon Keefe, calls out Brad Marchand and the referees from game 1 on poor calls.
The Toronto Maple Leafs struggled game one against the Boston Bruins and inevitably dropped the game 5-1. One of the Maple Leafs' biggest energy players, Max Domi, was assessed a minor slashing penalty against Brad Marchand of the Boston Bruins. Brad Marchand plays a similar style of game to Max Domi. This triggered Keefe to send a message to refs in hopes of a fair game two.
This is what Keefe had to say about the refs and getting a call going the other way in game two,
Keefe also had this to say about the intensity of Max Domi in game one,
""I don't need Max to change anything about who he is and how he plays. He's an important guy for us, and I love the intensity he brought the other night. He got caught on the penalty, I know their guy's probably going to get the same slash probably ten times in the rest of this series, and we'll see if he gets called on it. But I love Max's intensity."
Max Domi and the Toronto Maple Leafs will look to make a bigger difference in game two on Monday at 7 PM E.T.
