It seems that former NHL enforcers have not fully given up fighting, but they have switched from fighting on the ice to fighting each other on social media.

Former NHL enforcer Georges Laraque attracted fan attention after criticizing Leafs enforcer Ryan Reaves. It appears that Laraque was not a fan of Reaves' decision to fight Montreal Canadiens forward Michael Pezzetta. The fight was caused after Pezzetta delivered a dirty hit on Reaves' teammate David Kampf.
Watch a replay of the fight:
Laraque's comments have attracted the attention of Tie Domi, a former enforcer for the Toronto Maple Leafs. He argued that Laraque would have also fought Pezzetta for the cheap hit he took against Kampf. Domi added that Laraque was not respecting the "brotherhood".
"[George] you know you would have done the same thing if someone hit one of your teammates like Pezzetta on Kampf," wrote Domi. "Reavo is playing great & getting ready for the playoffs he didn't want to fight but he had too.

"George I love ya brotherhood always sticks together."
This fight between Reaves and Pezzetta proves to fans that the rivalry between the Habs and the Leafs is still alive, and won't be going anywhere for a long time.
