Andrei Kuzmenko is rumoured to be on the trade block in Vancouver, and his agent just broke his silence on his potential future in the City.
Kuzmenko Off to Rocky Start This Season With the Canucks
Kuzmenko had one of the best first seasons in the NHL the Canucks could have asked for last year, scoring 39 goals and 35 assists for 74 points. However, this season he has had a tougher start, being healthy scratched a number of times this year.
Now, with rumours surfacing that Kuzmenko is on the trade block, his Agent broke his silence on his potential future in Vancouver.
"There is absolutely no disconnect between the coaching staff, management, and our camp. We communicate daily.
"We have a plan, and everything is going to be okay. Andrei is very happy to be in Vancouver. With a few minor adjustments, many victories and goals are ahead!"
Kuzmenko Could Be a Massive Trade Option for Vancouver's Push
If the Vancouver Canucks don't see Kuzmenko fitting into their lineup, they should push to trade him this season. The Canucks are off to one of their best starts in recent history, and adding someone who fits Rick Tocchet's plan could help them extend their chances at being competitive this post-season.
Kuzmenko is also on a 2-year deal, and moving him this season could be easier than next, as he will become a UFA.
