Nikita Zadorov's agent, Dan Milstein, responds to an article by Sportsnet's, Iain MacIntyre, stating that the Canucks have made progress on Zadorov's contract.

This is what Iain MacIntyre posted on X about where the contract talks stand,
"Amid Canuck coaching news the last couple of weeks, there has been significant traction in contract talks w UFAs Nikita Zadorov and Elias Lindholm. Maybe neither re-signs, but it's possible the Canucks could keep both players."
This tweet suggests that the Canucks are looking likely to resign Zadorov for the upcoming season. On the other hand, it was reported that Zadorov rejected the teams first offer.
This is what Zadorov's agent, Dan Milstein, had to say in response,
"Fake news..."
After Zadorov put on a masterclass performance for the Canucks he is likely due for a pay raise and something long term. Zadorov's latest contract ties for the for his longest term contract passed his ELC. He is coming off of a two year, 3.75 million annual average contract. Zadorov will become an unresitricted free agent on July 1st and will likely receive many offers from teams looking to fill out a top 4 position on the back end.
