Reportedly, that leadership sometimes comes with tough love, as the 31-year-old recently called a Russian teammate 'a fool'.
Evgeny Kuznetsov said he called Alex Alexeyev "a fool" for thinking he'd be anything other than the seventh defenseman after re-signing with the Capitals in May.
Kuznetsov revealed that he called Russian teammate Alex Alexeyev "a fool" for believing that if he came back to the Capitals, he would be anything more than the seventh defenseman on the team.
