Winnipeg Jets Continue to Rally Around Rick Bowness as another update is released
The beginning of the Winnipeg Jets 2023-24 season has been an intriguing one with many storylines to follow, but one of the biggest has been the family issue of Rick Bowness.
Rallying around their coach
A few weeks ago, it was reported that Bowness' wife Judy was dealing with some health issues, and thus the veteran coach was stepping away from the role for the time being.
We've since learned that Judy has returned from hospital, but Bowness hasn't returned to coaching with the need to be by his side, and it's clear now that this team is behind him 100%.
Support for the veteran
When asked about the situation, Mark Scheifele and others threw all their support behind their coach.

The veteran has clearly made an impact on this team in his short time with them, as Mason Appleton and Josh Morrisey shared similar sentiments, and it's clear this team is behind him as much as they can be.

Just praying for Judy and the family and doing our best here at the rink to take care of what we need to do for Bones.
It's not yet clear when Bowness will return, but one thing is for certain, and that is that this team is ready to welcome him back when the time is right, but for now, they are patient and believing in Judy's recovery, which we hope is very, very soon.
