He is a game-time decision for tomorrow.

Current updates from Winnipeg indicate that the injury, though serious, won't keep him sidelined for an extended time.

Skate-related injuries are not uncommon in ice hockey, and the potential for a career-ending accident is always present. The Jets, along with Niederreiter, are undoubtedly relieved that his diagnosis suggests a good recovery.
According to sports journalist John Lu, Niederreiter might even participate in the upcoming game on Tuesday, emphasizing his critical role in the team, especially in light of the upcoming playoff face-off with the Colorado Avalanche.
Nino Niederreiter is speaking to the media today. He said he is feeling good to go after getting 8 stitches in his leg.

He also said the cut was very close to his achilles, but no damage as the cut protection socks saved him. All stitches are out now.
