The New York Rangers are making their presence felt in the trade market, offering Kaapo Kakko, Filip Chytil, and prized prospect Brennan Othmann for Winnipeg Jets center Nikolaj Ehlers and a 3rd round pick.

#NYR and #NHLJets have been in talks over Ehlers and Appleton, NOT McGroarty.

Rangers have offered Kakko, Chytil, and Othmann for Nikolaj Ehlers and a 3rd rd pick.
It's important to note the players have been offered in various combinations, not all together. That would be unfair since Ehlers only has one year and $6 million left on his contract. I'd hold off on the Ehlers to Broadway rumors for now.
Just to clarify:

These players have all been offered in a combination of trades. Not all for one. That would be extremely lobsided. Ehlers only has 1 year left on his contract.
The Blueshirts are primarily focused on Trevor Zegras and would take him over Ehlers. He hasn't been traded yet, but the Anaheim Ducks and Rangers have been talking, with Anaheim showing interest in Kakko.
Id say that #NYR are the frontrunners to land Zegras if anyone. There has already been confirmed preliminary pieces put together involving Trouba, Kakko, Robertson and picks. There could also be a lower end of this that results in Vatrano as well. #Flytogether #NHL
So, something could eventually happen between the clubs. We saw Ducks GM Pat Verbeek scouting the New York Rangers at MSG during the trade deadline. The trade market is cold right now, but someone has to make the first move, right? Maybe it's Rangers GM Chris Drury who pulls the trigger.
