The Jets are on the brink of elimination against Colorado, and now Head Coach Rick Bowness has given an update on Vlad Namestnikov's brutal injury.

After a barn burner in game one against the Avalanche, nothing has gone right for Winnipeg in the next three games, especially for Vlad Namestnikov, who suffered a brutal injury when he was hit in the face by a Nate Schmidt slap shot.
Now, with the series shifting back to Winnipeg ahead of game five, Head Coach Rick Bowness has given an injury on the veteran forward.
#NHLJets head coach Rick Bowness says Vladislav Namestnikov has a fractured cheek bone. He'll travel back to Winnipeg today.

Bowness won't rule him out. «He's a tough kid.»
While Bowness revealed that Namestnikov has a fractured cheek bone, in a stunning turn of events, he won't rule him out as he will travel back to Winnipeg ahead of the must-win game five. Obviously, plenty has to go right for the veteran forward for him to potentially return to the ice this series, and while a fractured cheek bone is a tough injury, it's certainly not the worst case scenario, which is good news for all involved.
