As the Vancouver Canucks dominated the game against the Edmonton Oilers last night, fans from both sides found themselves engaged in intense confrontations in the arena.
A video shared on X captures a heated exchange between an individual sporting an Edmonton Connor McDavid jersey and another in a Vancouver Todd Bertuzzi jersey.
As it escalated,into a direct slap/punch to the face of the McDavid jersey wearer, further intensifying the situation. Eventually, law enforcement had to intervene to quell the disturbance.
Not an Isolated Incident
This wasn't the only altercation that marred the Canucks-Edmonton game last night. Early in the first period, Vincent Desharnais and Dakota Joshua engaged in fight on the ice.
Brock Boeser of the Canucks emerged as the hero of the evening, contributing four goals to secure an impressive 8-1 victory.
