Dirty Hit Leads To A Brawl Between Jets And Wild

The Minnesota Wild and Winnipeg Jets showed tonight there is no love lost between the two rivals. Late in the first period of their matchup Winnipeg Jets star forward Mark Scheifele took a dirty hit from Minnesota Wild defenseman Jake Middleton.
With Scheifele down in the corner Jets defenseman Logan Stanley came to the aid of his teammate challenging Middleton to a fight. The two defensemen would go at it with Stanley getting the better shots in despite losing his helmet early in the fight.

The Jets have taken the momentum from the fight and used it to propel them to a 2-0 lead. The even bigger news for the Jets is that Scheifele appears to be okay and continued on in the game.
