Corey Perry is already a leader for the Edmonton Oilers

While Perry signed a contract with the Edmonton Oilers only two months ago, but it's safe to say that he's already an appreciated and respected player in the locker room.
Nurse's response to the hit is commendable. Stepping in for teammates is crucial at this point of the season.
Perry, 38, continues to show that he can play a valuable role in an NHL team. Drafted 28th overall in 2003 by the Anaheim Ducks, he's currently playing his 19th season in the League. His offensive performance aren't what they used to, but he finds other ways to contribute and help his team.
