Anders Lee of the New York Islanders will be lucky to escape extra punishment for a hit on Nico Hischier of the New Jersey Devils. Lee also got a game misconduct.
The Department of Player Safety may be taking a look at Anders Lee for this hit on Nico Hischier.
Anders Lee of the New York Islanders racked up a ton of penalties after this knee to Nico Hischier of the New Jersey Devils. After Hischier went down in pain, Devils teammate Timo Meier dropped the gloves with Lee. Unfortunately for him, Lee seemed to get more punches in.

The only saving grace for Lee right now is that Hischier returned for the third period, meaning he likely escaped long-term injury.
